MSU Foundation

THE MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION was established in 1973 as an independent non-profit corporation, the purpose of which is to support the advancement of MSU as the nation's premier land-grant university.

The Foundation's role on behalf of MSU is broad based, as reflected in its major responsibilities:

Views of MSU

providing grants and funding in support of University activities,

underwriting MSU's intellectual property program,

owning and operating the University Corporate Research Park, and

serving as steward of planned gifts designated to MSU.

By carrying out these responsibilities, the Foundation provides essential support and enhancement of a broad range of activities, many of which might otherwise go unfunded.
